Refund and Cancellation Policy

Last updated: March 31, 2026

1. Overview

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, non-renewals, trial expirations, and refunds work for Snapweb services.

Snapweb is a website generation and website subscription service operated by “RUBBER DUCK” Ltd.

2. Free Trial

If Snapweb delivers or makes your website available to you, you may receive a 5-calendar-day free trial.

During the free trial, you may be able to:

  • access your website;
  • log into the WordPress admin area;
  • edit content;
  • test the delivered website environment.

If you do not subscribe before the free trial expires, your website may be deleted immediately after the 5-day period or within up to 2 additional calendar days as part of internal deletion cycles, infrastructure processing, or scheduled cleanup workflows.

You are responsible for preserving any content you wish to keep before trial expiry.

3. Refund Policy

3.1 General Rule

All payments are generally non-refundable unless:

  • required by applicable law; or
  • Snapweb expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

3.2 Limited Refund Exception

A refund may be considered only if:

  • you have already paid; and
  • Snapweb fails to provide the website or agreed service within an expressly promised delivery framework for reasons attributable solely to Snapweb.

3.3 No Refund for Subjective Dissatisfaction

Refunds are not provided merely because:

  • you do not like the design;
  • you expected a different creative direction;
  • the AI-generated output is not aligned with your subjective preferences;
  • you changed your mind;
  • you no longer want the service;
  • you prefer to build the site elsewhere;
  • or you expected broader custom work than what was included in your purchased plan.

4. Subscription Cancellation

4.1 You May Cancel Renewal

You may cancel your subscription renewal at any time before the next billing cycle begins.

Cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless required by law.

4.2 Effect of Cancellation

If you cancel, your website may remain active until the end of the current paid billing period unless Snapweb states otherwise in a specific plan or offer.

After the paid period ends, your website may be:

  • suspended;
  • deactivated;
  • archived temporarily;
  • or permanently deleted in accordance with our operational processes.

5. Failed Payments / Non-Payment

If payment fails, is reversed, or is not completed successfully, Snapweb may:

  • retry payment collection;
  • restrict access;
  • suspend the website;
  • disable admin access;
  • or terminate the service.

Continued website availability is dependent on successful payment and active service status.

6. Immediate Service Performance

By purchasing or subscribing, you acknowledge that you are requesting the immediate start of a digital service.

This means Snapweb may begin:

  • website generation;
  • setup;
  • provisioning;
  • account preparation;
  • hosting-related configuration;
  • and related technical service work before any statutory withdrawal period would otherwise expire.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, this may affect your withdrawal or refund rights once service performance has begun.

7. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under applicable law.
